I’m an avid adventurer who grew up dreaming of leaving Newfoundland and Labrador to see the world. It wasn’t until I did exactly that that I realized something surprising – we have one of the most incredible places on earth right here at home.
From wild, rugged coastlines to warm, welcoming locals, Newfoundland and Labrador offers an experience you simply can’t find anywhere else.
I created Got Me Drove to help others explore this province the way I’ve come to know and love it. And in my (slightly biased) opinion, campervan travel is the very best way to do it. It gives you the freedom to take the scenic route, the flexibility to change plans, and the comfort of bringing your home wherever the road leads.
Newfoundland and Labrador also offers some of the best free camping in the world. Outside of National Parks, most public land allows free camping – and our incredible national and provincial campgrounds provide excellent amenities when you’re looking for a little extra comfort.
